The Vikings’ Jared Allen surprised fans with most impressive entry into the Ring of Honor ceremony

Jared Allen took the Vikings fans by charms for an era with his amazing performance on the field. Even after retirement, he did not cease to charm everyone, with his dramatic entrance for his Ring of Honor ceremony. Allen made a remarkable entry with his amazing outfit, riding on a horse and the fans are awestruck once again with his enigma off the field.

Riding a horse in cowboy attire never goes out of style and neither does former Vikings star Allen. The Vikings’ great defensive lineman knows how to make an entrance. he rides onto the field for his ceremony of Ring of Honor via horseback. The Minnesota Vikings gave him a tribute on Sunday at halftime of their game with the Arizona Cardinals.

Allen spent six seasons with the Vikings after being acquired in a trade in 2008. He was a three-time All-Pro and a four-time Pro Bowl pick. He also set the Vikings record for most sacks in a season in 2011 with 22, tying him for third in NFL history. His 136 career sacks rank him 12th all-time in NFL history. Allen is also tied for the NFL record in career safeties with four, all with the Vikings. The team humbly remembered his contribution to this ceremony to honor him.

Allen received the ring in the presence of his family on the field. He also expressed his gratitude, recalling his long journey with the franchise. He said, “This is where I wanted to be. When I asked to be traded, this is where I wanted to come,” and continued, “I just wanted to play for an organization that believed in me as much as I believed in them.”
