UFC President Dana White has advised people to get used to the unfair nature of the world, but at the same time suggested to make the best out of the world.
The Ultimate Fighting Championship or UFC is the global leader in the Mixed Martial Arts(MMA) arena. With so many events all across the year, the UFC brings together the best fighters from all across the globe.
One of the key elements behind the UFC’s gargantuan presence in the MMA world is the presence of Dana White. Popularly known as Dana, the 52-year old has led the line as the UFC has gone on to become a global phenomenon.
The UFC holds events not just in the USA, but also all around the world. This week, the UFC is in Singapore with UFC 275, with a lot of nail baiting fights on the card. This is the first time the UFC has landed in Southeast Asia, but fans will be hoping that this is the first of many events in the region.
But these expansions come with a lot of complications, and hard choices. Speaking on The Pat McAfee Show, Dana touched on some of the things he has had to face in his career:
“When you are a global business like we are, people are gonna do mean shit to each other all over the world. If you are gonna boycott and run every time someone does something mean to each other, you won’t have a business.”
“The world is a very unperfect place everybody; get used to it. The world is never going to be a perfect place, but we are all doing the best we can to make something out of it.”
Considering the fact that Dana himself has taken the UFC from a 2 million dollar business to a public company with a 5 billion dollar valuation, you would best listen to the advice he has given.
