The highly anticipated NCAA women’s basketball championship game between the Iowa Hawkeyes and LSU Tigers created a lot of heat for subpar officiating that resulted in the Hawkeyes’ loss.
The Tigers won the game by a comfortable 102-85 scoreline last night at American Airlines Center, but the victory was tainted by some controversial calls by the referee. Especially when Hawkeyes’ star Caitlin Clark was called for four technical fouls and especially the last one raising questions.
During the third quarter, the Hawkeyes’ point guard lobbed the ball outside of the line, and the official called it a technical foul. There was no logical reason that the fans could find behind the decision.

Like everyone else, the Dallas Cowboys’ Micah Parsons got furious over that dubious call by the referee, and he took it to social media to criticize the call.
What did Micah Parsons say about the calls made in the NCAA championship?
The 21-year-old linebacker was seriously pissed off after witnessing the repetition of such decisions that clearly favored the tigers. “These refs are trying to give the game to LSU! That’s wild!” he tweeted.

As gutted as the Cowboys’ youngster is, it seems he was supporting the Hawkeyes and couldn’t accept the outcome of the game through such questionable calls. “This script is freaking crazy! The replay makes it even more obvious!” Parsons tweeted.

On the receiving end of these controversial calls, Clark was the only player from the losing side to show any effort in the game. She scored the most points with 30 points, two rebounds, and eight assists. On the other hand, the Tigers’ three 20-plus point performances propelled them to become the NCAA champion.
