“This feels a whole lot better” NBA world react to Mo Bamba’s move to Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers made a rapid move by trading Patrick Beverley to the Orlando Magic along with a future second-round pick and cash for Mohamed Bamba just before the deadline.

Previously, former Magic’s Center gained notoriety after receiving a four-game suspension following a brawl at Target Center on February 3. However, he didn’t have to serve all of those suspensions as a Magic player after the trade. But he didn’t forget to express his gratitude to the fans, teammates, and other stuffs.

Aside from that, the NBA community, especially Lakers fans, expressed mixed feelings about this trade.

What was the NBA world’s reaction to Mo Bamba’s deal?

The troublemaker had caused quite a stir among Lakers fans after moving to Los Angeles. One fan wrote, “This feels a whole lot better.”

“MO BAMBA IS FREE!!!” wrote journalist Kevin O’Connor.

Even some fans trolled Bamba for his previous action.

This widespread troll was inspired by a previous brawl in which Bamba attempted to pull a wrestling move on Timberwolves’ Austin Rivers and Rivers responded on social media.

The 7-foot center joined the franchise as the 6th overall pick in the 2018 NBA draft. Prior to that, he was a college player at the University of Texas.

After moving to Orlando, he played 266 games and scored 7.7 points on average with 5.8 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game in those five seasons. He became an instrumental part of the franchise’s roster in the meantime.
