High-profile manager Thomas Tuchel received yet another embarrassment from London giants Chelsea FC following his team’s defeat against weaker side Dinamo Zagreb in their opening group stage match last week.
The former PSG manager was handed a termination letter from the Chelsea authorities because of his team’s poor performance since the beginning of this new season, which made him emotional in the end.
How did Thomas Tuchel express his deepest sadness after the Chelsea incident?
Thomas Tuchel is the kind of manager who is capable of transforming an average team into a giant phenomenon, as we have seen in the past with Borussia Dortmund and PSG, but unfortunately, this time, his contributions were not fully recognized by the Chelsea board in the proper way.
The German regrettably reflected the above notion through his own statement on Twitter where he mentioned, “This is one of the most difficult statements I have ever had to write – and it is one which I hoped I would not need to do for many years. I am devastated that my time at Chelsea has come to an end.”

Needless to say, Tuchel’s reign was successful which he also stated by saying, “This is a club where I felt at home, both professionally and personally. Thank you so much to all the staff, the players and the supporters for making me feel very welcome from the start.”
As an UCL winning manager, the former Chelsea boss said, “The pride and joy I felt at helping the team to win the Champions League and the Club World Cup will stay with me forever. I am honoured to have been a part of this club’s history and the memories of the last 19 months will always have a special place in my heart.”
