This was the first top 5 NBA players of all time list of Anthony Edward went like this: Allen Iverson, Himself (Anthony Edwards), LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Shaquille O’Neal. This list was revealed in a tweet by bleacher report on X (formerly Twitter).

The reaction of fans was hilarious as they all thrilled and criticized Edwards’s take on this subject. Edward was mostly criticized for his noninclusion of legends of the game like Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant. This criticism must have hit Anthony Edwards in the head as we see 2 months later his new list of top 5 NBA players of all time has changed.

In his newer list, we can see that he has removed himself and LeBron James from his list and added Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant to it. I guess the wide range of criticism got to him and he changed his words.
