Tom Brady is no stranger to skepticism. Despite winning seven Super Bowl titles and cementing himself as one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history, there are still those who doubt his abilities. Now, as he potentially prepares to enter a new phase of his career as a game analyst for Fox, the doubts are once again mounting. But there are still those who believe in Brady’s ability to succeed, no matter what he sets his mind to.
Tom Brady‘s future as a game analyst for Fox remains uncertain, with many people taking a “believe it when I see it” approach. Although Fox has agreed to pay him $375 million as their lead NFL analyst, there is still doubt within the industry as to whether the seven-time Super Bowl champion will actually step into the booth.
According to the New York Post’s Andrew Marchand, who spoke about Brady’s future on his podcast, there is a growing sense that Brady may not take up the offer.
What did Andrew Marchand say about Tom Brady joining Fox?
Marchand believes that the chances of Brady joining Fox have now shifted from 51 percent to 49 percent.
“It was at 51 percent that he’s going to do it to 49 percent, with the reasoning it’s so much money he’ll try it for a year.”
He thinks that the former NFL player may not want to travel much and that if he does commit, he will be all-in and arrive early for games, rather than showing up the day of the game like some other broadcasters.
“I think Brady’s a guy who if he’s in, he’s all-in, so he’s not going to be showing up day of games like Joe Buck and Aikman do sometimes, he’s going to be there early if he’s going to do it. So it’s going to be a four-day event, again, cry me a river for that type of money for five and a half months,” Marchand said.
While it is not a particularly bold prediction, Marchand’s comments highlight the ongoing uncertainty around the seven-time Super Bowl champion’s potential move to the broadcast booth.
Tom Brady’s career as a broadcaster remains up in the air, with doubts surrounding his commitment and willingness to travel. However, it is clear that if he does choose to pursue this path, he will bring the same level of dedication and passion that has made him one of the greatest athletes of all time. While the future may be uncertain, one thing is for sure – he is a guy who, “if he’s in, he’s all-in.”
