Tom Brady trolls Peyton Manning after former Broncos QB reveals chilling experience: “could never handle life outside the dome”

Tom Brady and Peyton Manning, two legendary NFL quarterbacks, had an intense rivalry during the 2000s and 2010s. While they engaged in epic battles on the field, they maintained a mostly friendly relationship off the field. Now, with both quarterbacks retired from the NFL, fans are reminiscing about the excitement of their iconic rivalry.

However, recently, both quarterbacks were involved in an off-field altercation that brought back memories of their on-field clashes. Manning playfully teased Brady in an interview, and Brady, true to form, didn’t let the opportunity slip by, responding with a clever comeback.

Peyton Manning questions Brady resiliency

Peyton Manning appeared on The Pat McAfee Show, where he discussed his recent flight from Hawaii to the mainland. The QB mentioned that the flight was drafty, which led to some discomfort.

Manning described his flight experience as extremely cold. He then mentioned how he played in extreme cold weather in Green Bay and New England during his career. But this flight had the worst weather.

“It’s as cold as I’ve ever been. I’ve played in cold-weather games, in Green Bay and New England.”

He took this situation as an opportunity to make a playful jab at Tom Brady. The QB said that he is wondering if Brady ever flew on Delta Airlines and sat in a less comfortable seat.

“Does Tom fly Delta to the yacht? Has Tom sat in 36F on a Delta flight?”

Manning was trying to question the resiliency of Tom Brady by emphasizing that he has gone through more tough situations and still stayed resilient.

Brady fires back with playful jibe

When Tom Brady heard Manning’s words about him, he made sure to respond. The QB responded on social media by saying, “I’m sure the temperature was perfect. Peyton could never handle life outside the dome.”

This was a reference to Manning’s time with the Indianapolis Colts, who have a retractable stadium.

In a recent statement, the legendary Tom Brady made a noteworthy comment regarding Peyton Manning’s ability to handle life outside the dome. This remark goes back to a previous instance where Brady tagged Manning as a “dome quarterback,” pointing to the numerous games he played in indoor stadiums.

Even in his absence from the NFL, Tom Brady’s relentless commitment and tireless work ethic cannot be questioned. If there are any concerns about his toughness, the quarterback will definitely offer a thunderous rebuttal. He effectively turned Manning’s own words against him in a superb demonstration of mental acumen, exposing a weakness in his armor when it comes to dealing with adversity. This clever action demonstrates his strong brain and strategic thinking abilities.

Manning had a 3-5 record in games played in temperatures of 32 degrees or less, while Brady had a 35-8 record in similar conditions, with more impressive statistics. Manning led his teams to four Super Bowl appearances and won two Super Bowl rings, one with the Indianapolis Colts and one with the Denver Broncos.
