Bayern Munich’s Polish powerhouse Robert Lewandowski has decided to leave the club in the summer and wants to join Barcelona.
Robert Lewandowski is one of the Bayern’s greatest ever players. But all good things must come to an end, and that’s what it looks like in this case as well. Although club officials have been very stern about the Pole fulfilling his contract obligations.
Lewandowski wants to join the Catalans this summer before the pre-season preparations begin. The Polish captain is currently on vacation, but he will join up with the national team squad for the matches against Belgium and Netherlands.
Even though Bayern want Lewandowski to finish the length of his contract, the Pole wants mutual understanding between him and the club. His contract with the Bavarians runs until 2023, but he is already gunning to sign a 3-year deal with Barca. But finding a deal that seems to be suitable for both sides seems to be a tough ask now.
Talks have started between Barcelona and Bayern for Robert Lewandowski. There's an opening proposal on the table, as @wlodar85 reported – but Bayern want more and would also need a replacement, still early stages. 🔴🇵🇱 #FCB
