Tottenham Hotspurs FC gained the last UEFA Champions League spot for the next season under their famous manager Antonio Conte with a fight alongside archrival Arsenal.
Spurs is looking to strengthen its first team as the summer transfer market opened numerous opportunities for all the clubs around Europe to bolster their squad with young, experienced and versatile players.
Each team in the Premier league has their own issues with their teams as many star players are out of contract or are not interested to play for their respective clubs anymore and the situation at Tottenham Hotspurs is no different from them.
Much needed trophy drought is also a key area that should be focused on for the Spurs ownership as the fanbase want real results than just acquiring star players and managers on the process.
Strengthening the goalkeeping department was a serious matter of concern for the Tottenham board since the last couple of seasons as their skipper and number one goalkeeper Hugo Lorris got injured and became out of form on several occassions.
Pierluigi Gollini was then hired as a loan goalkeeper from Italian side Atalanta last season to support Hugo Lorris but Spurs ultimately missed a chance to sign him on a permanent basis on this transfer window.
On the quest for a backup goalkeeper, Tottenham locked their eyes on experience rather than young sensations and thus hired Fraser Forster, the 34 year old Southampton Goalkeeper on a permanent basis according to reliable sources.
Fabrizio Romano also twitted on this closed deal by saying, “Official, confirmed. Fraser Forster joins Tottenham as free agent on a two year deal, second signing after Ivan Perisić.”
Later he added, “Forster will be the new backup goalkeeper to replace Gollini.”

This transfer saga might turn the luck for Spurs with these positive signings like last season.
