Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa suffered a concussion on Christmas Eve against the Green Bay Packers. Since then, the 24-year-old has been included in the NFL concussion protocol, missing the rest of the Dolphins’ game.
That wasn’t Tua’s first time on the concussion list; the player suffered a couple more of the same fatal injuries back in September, which caused a lot of controversy regarding the NFL’s concussion protocol.
However, The latest actually made the whole NFL community raise questions about the violent nature of the game.
However, this was the first time he was out of the game for a month due to the ailment and the medical personnel taking extra care of the CFP national champion.

Per source, Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa remains in concussion protocol and will not participate in pro bowl activities
He was named a first alternate for the AFC but I’m told it’s been a deliberate progression through protocol — not result of any setbackhttps://t.co/4mMpa97PI1

On a positive note, the quarterback’s health is gradually improving in the meantime. The NFL world was very worried for Tagovailoa as he had to suffer three career-ending concussions in the span of four months. The contract of the medical personnel was also terminated after he allowed the Maxwell champion to play with a concussion.
These negligencies raised some eyebrows among NFL and NFLPA authorities, and they changed the protocol in favor of athletes’ health, safety, and security.
Following Damar Hamlin’s cardiac arrest earlier this month, the entire sports industry became extra sensitive and cautious.
