UFC 270 is going to take place in Anaheim, California featuring Francis Ngannou vs Ciryl Gane main event and Brandon Moreno vs Deiveson Figueiredo co main event for the flyweight title.
Current flyweight title holder Brandon Moreno will join the fight to defend his title. However, his opponent Figueiredo was a former title winner. Moreno will start the bout with a 19-5 record. Nevertheless, this fight will be the third meeting for these fighters. Previously Moreno fought Figueiredo at UFC 256 in December 2020, which was a draw. Later they met again at UFC 263 in June 2021 and Moreno won the bout.
Now that they are meeting again, Figueiredo will surely be looking for revenge. He will enter to the octagon with a 20-2 record. Figueiredo won the UFC Flyweight Championship first in February 2020. Tonight’s fight may end their long rivalry.
UFC 270: Brandon Moreno vs Deiveson Figueiredo Purse
UFC 270 features two title fights. So, there will be huge money on the table. Brandon Moreno is expected to make $542,000 which includes $42,000 from sponsorship and $500,000 as base salary. On the other hand, Deiveson Figueiredo will make $282,000 which includes $32,000 from sponsorship and $250,000 as base salary.
However, these payouts don’t include any deduction for some classified items such as licenses, insurance and taxes. In addition to that, PPV cuts are also not calculated here. Further, the PPV payout and other incentive payments will be added later after the event is finished. Hence, the fighters will earn more which we will update upon the disclosure form the organizer.
