UFC 294 Makhachev vs Volkanovski 2: match card, venue, start time, prelims, prediction

This weekend is going to be a dream come true for UFC fans. UFC 294 is finally here. This may have been the most anticipated card of they year. The card has been full of surprises due to last minute replacements.

The card is even featuring an Indian fighter for the very first time. The main and co-main events are stacked as well. With the main event having two different title holders going up against each other. The co-main event also has the biggest names going against each other.

UFC 294 venue, date, start time

UFC 294 is in Abu Dhabi. Yes UFC is returning back to the emirates. The UFC is very popular down there and UFC CEO Dana White loves that place. The fight is going to take place this Saturday i.e. 21st October.

The card is supposed to start at 10 a.m. ET with the prelims, with the main card at 2 p.m. ET. The main event that is Islam vs Volkanovski to walk out to the octagon around :15 p.m. ET, depending on the undercard unfolds.

A jam packed arena is expected as the fans go crazy in UAE. Khazmat is also now representing UAE in the UFC, thus a massive crowd in expected and anticipated. Dana white is extremely excited for this as well, it can be seen on a video he posted on his twitter.

UFC 294 match card, prediction

Islam Makhachev is now fighting Volkanovski as Olivera pulled out due to an injury. This is the second time the two are facing off, with the first one being earlier this year in February. Where in Islam won via an unanimous decision.

The co-main event had khazmat going up against Paulo Costa, but even Costa pulled out due to an injury. Now Borz is facing Kumaru Usman. Both these replacement fighters agreed to fight on ten days notice, thus it will be interesting to see how they fair in the octagon.

Islam has been the betting favorite, now that Volkanovski has only had 10 days to prepare he was sure to be the underdog. In the case of Khazmat vs Usman, Usman is fighting in a new weight division thus even he is the underdog in his fight.

This card is going to be very exciting for the future of the UFC as well. As the results from this card can unlock many more potential match ups.
