Dana White denies Endeavor’s acquisition of Top Rank Boxing

Recently, UFC’s parent company Endeavor made headlines for involving themselves in boxing as well. Reporter Rick Glaser also dropped a bomb in the combat sports community on December 25, 2023.

The Rick Glaser tweet was about Endeavor acquiring top-rank boxing. The rumor circulated everywhere until it reached the main man to comment on the truth about Endeavor being on the verge of buying Top Rank Boxing. Dana White completely shut down all the rumors on his Instagram story saying, “Absolutely positively not true. We are not buying top rank.”

Conor McGregor’s pleas fall on deaf ears

Recently, Conor McGregor showed his frustration with not getting a direct response from Dana White. Already, the MMA community started making anticipation for the comeback of UFC’s biggest star in UFC 300.

However, Sean O’Malley talked about the former two-division champion, saying he was begging for a fight and also indicating UFC 300 is the target McGregor is aiming for right now. But Dana White showed no interest in revealing the actual deal for the biggest fight night in UFC history.

O’Malley commented, “Conor’s supposedly just begging for a fight… I wonder if he’s just making so much money per fight that it’s really not beneficial to the UFC. Like, they’re losing money when he fights… It seems like he’s trying to get on that [UFC 300].” Via Sportskeeda.

McGregor was once named the highest-paid athlete of the year by Forbes. Even Dana White admitted he is the biggest superstar of his company. White after successful season 31 of The Ultimate Fighter announced the match-up between Conor Mcgregor and Michael Chandler.
