UFC CEO Dana White Reveals A Family-Type Bond with NFL Superstar Receiver

Dana White is best known for his work as the president and CEO of the UFC, where he is heavily focused on combat sports and wrestling entertainment. But outside of his job, his personal life has brought him into the world of football because of his kids’ connection to the NFL.

Recently, he made a surprising revelation about one of the biggest NFL stars, who is not only a close friend of his children but also grew up in his home.

However, the close relationship he revealed is with Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua. Speaking on Julian Edelman’s ‘Games With Names’ podcast, White revealed that Nacua grew up alongside his children and was a frequent presence in the White household.

Dana White said, “My kids grew up with Puka. He grew up in our house.” Nacua played football with White’s son in Las Vegas. White and his business partner, Lorenzo Fertitta, helped fund a team called the “Little Cowboys.”

White said that Nacua is very talented and humble, adding that he believes anyone who meets him will surely love him.

Dana White mourns the sudden loss of a close friend’s dog

Dana White understands the pain of losing a beloved pet. Earlier this year, he lost his prized bull, Twisted Steel, after a long battle with health issues. This time, though, it wasn’t his pet. His close friend, Stephen Deleonardis from the Nelk Boys, lost his famous French Bulldog, Donald.

Deleonardis shared the heartbreaking news on his Instagram, posting a picture of White holding Donald. With “See You Again” and writing, “RIP DONALD. SOME PEOPLE WILL SAY IT’S JUST A DOG. BUT HE WAS MY SOUL DOG.”

UFC CEO Dana White joined in mourning by reposting the tribute on his Instagram story, supporting his friend through this tough time.
