Dustin “The Diamond Poirier” has been called out by a fan on Twitter for allegedly not paying up the promised donation to UFC lightweight champion Charles Oliveira. The Diamond replied to the fan with his signature remark “paid in full”.
The base of these allegations against Dustin could not be verified due to a lack of trusted sources. Dustin Poirier runs a charity himself. Both his former opponents Connor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov pledged to make sizeable donations to his cause. But the Mcgregor donation never went through and that media feud ultimately culminated in their third fight.
Poirier’s charity work has been questioned and labeled as a publicity stunt by rivals, including the aforementioned McGregor and the controversial Colby “Chaos” Covington on numerous occasions. Dustin has been accused of using his children as props to portray a friendly image to the public, and his charity work has also been labeled as a scheme. But all these allegations from fans and rivals alike have not come with any substantial proof as of yet!
