UFC fighter Molly McCann recently shared a photo of herself displaying an expensive timepiece that singer Drake gave her as a present. It seems that the Canadian rapper bet on her to win a battle, which she accomplished to end Drake’s bet curse.
Drake has been placing bets on boxers and UFC fighters for almost a year now. However, Drizzy’s love of gambling did not emerge suddenly. Due to the enormous financial losses Drake had to suffer as a result of losing bets, the phrase “Drake Curse” has gained widespread popularity on the internet as everyone Drake lays a bet on loses.

Molly McCann broke the Drake Curse!
The Rolex watch Molly appeared to be wearing is currently valued at about £40,000. The flyweight fighter thanked Drake in a photo where she flaunted her watch by tagging him. It looks like there is an excellent relationship between the UFC fighter and the musician.
The 36-year-old singer staked money on Jorge Masvidal and Colby Covington’s fight last year too, favoring Jorge in the process but losing out in the end. When Drake backed Justin Gaethje to defeat Charles Oliveira a second time, he suffered a large financial loss.

Drake gambled on “Meatball” to defeat Hannah Goldy in the same year. In the first round of their UFC Fight Night duel, Molly used a spinning elbow and punches to finish off Goldy. Drake’s curse was broken, and as a thank you, the singer gave the fighter this pricey timepiece.
Drizzy’s bet luck in 2023
The musician and singer, spent a sizable sum of money on UFC fighter Jon Jones earlier this year and won a staggering £1.4 million. The Canadian artist wagered £207,730, or $250,000, for Jones to prevail by knockout or submission, and that’s exactly how Jones did.
Although Drake already has a bad reputation for gambling because he typically loses, lady luck was on his side this time as Jones won by submission, netting him £1.4 million.
In February, Drake also bet $400 000 on American boxer Jake Paul. Jake’s good fortune ran out this time as he was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury. After that, Jake sarcastically claimed that Drake was to blame for his loss since, as legend has it, the Drake curse had befallen him.
