The USA is bringing a solid 12-player team for the Paris Games this summer for the Olympics. According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, The Athletic’s Shams Charania and Joe Vardon say that Team USA has almost completed its roster, with 11 of the 12 spots filled.
Steve Kerr has reportedly finalized his team for the 2024 Olympics. The lineup for the Paris Games was revealed recently, featuring superstars like LeBron James from the Los Angeles Lakers and Steph Curry from the Golden State Warriors.
The squad includes 11 players, with one spot remaining for a potential player to be filled. Here are the athletes confirmed for the Olympic 2024:

The remaining spot on the roster may be filled later, as ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported. Charania and Vardon reported, “Kawhi Leonard is the leading candidate for the USA vacancy, with Paul George, Paolo Banchero, Mikal Bridges, and Jalen Brunson also being considered.”
Leonard, a favorite to join big names like Durant and LeBron on the team, is dealing with a knee injury, and his status for the start of the playoffs with the Los Angeles Clippers is not confirmed yet.

Team USA aims to win its fifth consecutive gold medal in the Olympics. They have been incredibly successful in the competition, winning medals in all 19 times they’ve participated, except for the 1980 Olympics in Russia, which they withdrew from. USA holds 16 Olympic gold in basketball and will be looking secure their 17th in Paris.
LeBron James has the most experience in the Olympics among the players mentioned. At 39 years old, he won a bronze medal in 2004 and a gold medal in 2008 and 2012. This will be his fourth Olympics.
Among the other players mentioned, Anthony Davis won gold in 2012, while Devin Booker, Jayson Tatum, Jrue Holiday, and Bam Adebayo were part of the recent gold-winning team in Tokyo.
