The fighter hailing from Rio De Janeiro suffered a loss against Rafael Fiziev after that. Emblamatic to his mixed career, he found his feet with a win in his last fight, back in December 2022. He has proven with that win against Bryan Barberena that he still has plenty of fight left in him.
A win over Luque would be a significant step towards his goal of reclaiming UFC gold. And it might finally solidify his position as one of the top welterweights in the division.
