Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, the Bengals’ No. 1 and No. 2 wide receivers, recently found themselves in controversy after a video showed them racing on the streets of Miami. The video itself claims that the players were putting Miami residents’ lives in danger with their $250K Lamborghini.
Both Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins are currently linked to the highest-paid contracts with the Bengals. Chase signed a four-year, $161 million contract, with $112 million guaranteed. For those who don’t know, this is the highest non-QB contract in the NFL right now.
Tee Higgins isn’t far behind, with his four-year, $115 million deal making him the highest-paid second receiver in history. Given these figures, it’s no surprise they own cars like the $250K Lamborghini.
Awful: Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins are racing their new +250K Lamborghini's all over Miami.

Potentially putting many civilians' lives at risk…

However, that doesn’t mean they should race these cars on the roads where Miami residents drive their cars and bikes. Racing on such busy roads, with people all around, is always risky, and that’s what fans are pointing out in the comments section of the video.
Fans react to Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins racing in streets
Though in the video they were racing, it doesn’t seem extreme at any moment. They followed all the red light rules while racing.
However, since the road was full of traffic, their decision to race was risky. The majority of fans are demanding a penalty, with some even suggesting that Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins should face jail time.
Rather tone deaf from 2 star players after the terrible season their team just had

Your fans wanted to see you in the playoffs, not racing lambos in the offseason lol
They need to be arrested and put in jail

You won’t believe how loud those things are. I’m in Miami and they’re all over the place. I have a Tesla in the main reason I love it is cause how quiet it is and it’s still fast.

But not everyone is blaming them, with some defending them, saying their actions weren’t “awful.”
This is awesome.. not awful

1) this is normal for south Florida, was just there for a week to reinforce that in my mind. 2) they are young with above avg testosterone with means, did you not like driving fast when you were younger? I did with my 94 accord…but there are levels as they say. Anyway 3) delete…
