Draymond Green, a seasoned player for the Golden State Warriors, gave fans an encouraging update after an ankle injury scare during the game against the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday.
Although he rolled his ankle in the third quarter after accidentally stepping on Jrue Holiday’s foot, Green toughed it out and returned to help his team secure a 125-116 victory in overtime.
Despite admitting his ankle will be sore, Green is determined to play through the pain when the Warriors face off against the Phoenix Suns on Monday.
Green managing to finish the game against the Bucks couldn’t convince coach Steve Kerr enough though. The Warriors’ HC is still a bit concerned about the forward’s injury. He expects Green’s ankle to be quite painful in the upcoming days, but Green won’t let it stop him from playing. He’s well aware of the potential discomfort, but he’s determined to suit up and help his team in any way possible, according to Anthony Slater of The Athletic
