Curry’s impressive average of 32 points per game on a 49/40/95 shooting split at the age of 35 is simply remarkable, and NBA Twitter couldn’t stop praising the 6-foot-3 sharpshooter. However, despite Curry’s outstanding performance, the Warriors can only win if he continues to produce such outings, and his teammates also step up their game.
The Warriors, who are the defending champions, have had a rough start to the series against their rivals. Still, with Curry’s exceptional form, they have a good chance of turning the series around. However, they will need to keep up the momentum and improve their team performance to come out on top.
Curry’s achievement puts him in the same category as two of the greatest NBA players of all time, Michael Jordan and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, which is an impressive feat. The Golden State Warriors managed to even their first-round Western Conference playoff series against the Sacramento Kings, winning Game 4 by a single point. The game was a back-and-forth affair, with the home team once again coming out on top.
Stephen Curry continued his exceptional postseason, scoring 32 points, grabbing five rebounds, and dishing out four assists. Draymond Green also had a notable performance, coming off the bench after being suspended for Game 3 and finishing with 10 points, 12 rebounds, seven assists, and two steals.
The Kings had their chances to pull out the victory but ultimately came up short. De’Aaron Fox led the way for Sacramento with 38 points, nine rebounds, and five assists, while rookie Keegan Murray had a breakout game, finishing with 23 points and seven rebounds. With at least one more game in the series set to be played in Sacramento, the Warriors will need to find a way to win on the road to advance to the next round.
