At the UFC 285, following a Hollywood movie shoot on Jon Jones vs Ciryl Gane card, Hollywood sensation Jake Gyllenhaal and Irish UFC superstar Conor McGregor were both seen hugging, which caught the audience’s attention.
For a remake of the 1989 cult classic film Road House, Gyllenhaal has reportedly been linked to numerous UFC fighters, including Conor McGregor.

Gyllenhaal also appeared in the UFC weigh-in session the day before the main event to film a sequence in the film that required a live reaction of spectators in a real UFC facility to make the scene look real and true to life.

The Notorious, however, did not appear in any of the sequences shot during this Saturday’s event, but film producers have already announced that McGregor will appear in the film in a minor but significant role.
Conor’s role in the film has yet to be announced, but Jake will portray a middleweight boxer who goes to war with a powerful and nasty businessman. Previously, Jake and McGregor were spotted together in a few public images of the film, confirming that the two will appear together on screen.

In addition to McGregor, the involvement of Jay Hieron, another mixed martial artist, is confirmed in the movie. Jay will be Jake’s opponent in the cage in a scene where he must compete for a title, and this is the scene which was filmed on Friday. The Hollywood actor, 42, was spotted hitting Jay and kicking Jay in the knee, leaving him unconscious for the shoot.

With Roadhouse, Conor will make his acting debut. Although the Irish fighter has not stated whether or not he plans to switch careers and become a movie star, his appearance on television screens other than in the cage is not new. He previously appeared and will again appear as a coach on the TV show The Ultimate Fighter.
Yesterday, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, the Roadhouse co-stars were seen standing next to each other, hugging and shouting for the fighters. The crowd totally erupted when Gyllenhaal hugged McGregor following the main event of UFC 285.
