The Dallas Cowboys star quarterback, Dak Prescott, has been awarded the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year award just before the Super Bowl game begins.
Since 1970, the ‘Man of the Year’ award has been given to the athlete who has shown outstanding activity as a humanitarian along with fantastic performance on the field. The 53rd recipient, Prescott, appeared in the state farm stadium to receive the honor.
No matter how high the Cowboys’ quarterback has been regarded, Philadelphia fans will always detest him, and last night wasn’t any different.
What did the Eagles fan do to Dak Prescott?
After being named the Walter Payton winner, Dak was inhaling all the love in the air at once, but the Eagles fans couldn’t stand him smiling and receiving an award. As he received the award, the crowd started jeering, and Dak surely noticed it.

The winner must have seen it coming as he was standing in front of the Eagles crowd and presumably uttered, “Philly fans.” They had a long history of bitterness from the man of the moment.
The 29-year-old had played 11 games against the Eagles and got eight runs on top of them. Even so, the player had a staggering record against them: 19 touchdowns, 8 interceptions, and 2,757 yards of passing with a 67.5% completion rate.
With that killer stat, the two-time pro bowler became the antagonist, and the cowboys ruined their Christmas by giving the eagles an upset on Christmas Eve.
All adversaries aside, we should commend the winner for his outstanding community service activities. “It’s very humbling to be here on this stage, such an honor to be here tonight, in the esteemed company of the other 31 nominated men,” Prescott expressed his gratitude.
Prescott has also excelled on the field this season, scoring 23 touchdowns, throwing 15 interceptions, and passing for 2,860 yards with a 66.2% completion rate.
