Victor Wembanyama and Dennis Schroder’s conversation goes viral
A leaked audio circulated showing Victor Wembanyama’s heated exchange with the Toronto Raptors guard Dennis Schroder. The incident took place during a match between the Raptors and the Spurs. Both teams gave it their all right up until the very end, and the game was extremely tight and went into overtime.
Wemby once stumbled to the ground while attempting to close the distance on Schroder in a play. Schroder offered to help Wemby to get up but was ignored.
Schroder’s admission that he was attempting to assist Wemby exposed some verbal back and forth between the two. The 7-foot-4 big man responded to the 2023 FIBA World Cup MVP in a somewhat unwelcome. “I don’t need your help,” said Wembanyama in response to Schroder.
The French big man finished the game with 20 points, nine rebounds, and four assists. However, that was insufficient to win the game for his team. He demonstrated his threat level on both ends of the floor and added five blocks to the stat sheet.
