At the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, it took not even a round, just two minutes, for the former light heavyweight kingpin to prove that no one else but he is indeed the greatest of all time- the undisputed GOAT! Even though he proved his worth, capability, and prowess so many times before, there will always be doubters and critics.
To shut the mouth of all the critics, Jon needed a return to the Ultimate Fighting Championship, an opportunity to again prove himself in the cage. That opportunity came in January when former heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou left the organization.
UFC Dana White’s president gave the awaited opportunity to his most reliable fighter ever to show his worth once again. The countdown began, and the bout between two heavyweights started. There was a bit of tension in the air about whether Jon Jones is still the same as he used to in 2020.
But no, it is not any mediocre, ordinary, or inexperienced fighter we are talking about; it is Jon Bone Jones, who has done it plenty of times, who knows how to finish his opponent, who knows very well how to destroy his enemy within a blink of an eye.

Just two minutes into the fight and the 35-Year-old fighter had his opponent down on the floor with a guillotine choke to make Gane do one thing only, to tap out, to submit, to surrender just like an innocent, helpless deer in the middle of the jungle submitting itself to a ferocious and hungry lion.
Thus, the debate is settled as Jon made the sound of an actual goat during the post-fight interview session. However, if anyone thinks the lion is done hunting, they live in a fool’s paradise. With the title of GOAT, the lion has already set his next prey; Stipe Miocic is already called out for war.
