This season, NBA superstar LeBron James was named captain of the all-star game despite his team’s poor performance throughout the season.
This was LeBron’s 19th All-Star game in his 20-year NBA career, missing only the first season’s edition. Should the Lakers legend be named again to the all-star team next year, he will become the athlete with the most all-star medals in NBA history.
At 38 years old, the small forward is still performing every game, even in the all-star game last night, when James made an outstanding play in the initial moments of the game.

The four-time NBA champion demonstrated an incredible, effortless self alley-oop while slamming the vibrant dunk in the early first quarter. His opponent, Cleveland Cavaliers shooting guard Donovan Mitchell, appeared helpless in front of the King.

The team led by LeBron James lost the game no matter what with a 175–184 scoreline, while the captain left the game with a hand injury after playing just 14 minutes. Prior to his departure, James scored 13 points with one rebound and four assists.
With this year’s inclusion, the King James touched another record with Kareem Abdul Jabbar’s all-star appearance. Previously, he broke Abdul Jabbar’s all-time scoring record of 38,388 points.
