Former UFC champion Luke Rockhold will make a return to combat sport and be in action this weekend as he takes on Mike Perry in a Bare Knuckle fight. This Middleweight match-up will take on Saturday, April 29th at 1STBANK center in Denver Colorado.
It is needless to say that this is probably the best match-up on the card and consequently, this clash between the former UFC stars will headline the event.
As we lead up to this middleweight clash, both the fighters have successfully made weight and therefore there will probably be no problems with the fight taking place as per schedule. Interestingly, the build-up of this fight was hilarious and just like that the final stare-down between Luke Rockhold and Mike Perry was pretty entertaining.

Initially, Luke tried to take the belt off Perry. Thereafter Platinum Perry offered the former champion to take a picture with his belt. In the end, as Rockhold was leaving the staredown he jokingly locked in a choke. Everyone on social media found this moment wholesome and praised the two fighters.
With that being said, it would be interesting to see how the fight between Luke Rockhold and Mike Perry plays out. One can expect fireworks from this main event clash as we have seen Platinum Perry exchange powerful strikes fearlessly. And Luke Rockhold has been involved in a lot of wars in his UFC career.
How did Luke Rockhold perform in his last UFC fight?
Luke Rockhold last stepped inside the octagon against Paulo Costa in August 2022 in the co-main event of UFC 278. The former middleweight champion made a return after three long years. However, his comeback fight didn’t go as per everyone’s expectations as Borrachinha completely outclassed him on almost all fronts.
The Brazilian middleweight controlled him on the ground for over five minutes and also had an edge in the striking department. The only positive for Rockhold from the unanimous decision loss was his durability and the heart he showed despite suffering a beatdown. Following his defeat, Luke Rockhold announced his retirement from the UFC.
