Neymar Jr. has been asked to leave the club by Paris Saint Germain ultras who were seen outside his house yesterday.
The Parisians have had a rough week after their Ligue 1 title aspirations were dashed after a humiliating 3-1 home loss to Lorient on April 30. Following an unapproved trip to Saudi Arabia, the French giants suspended Argentine superstar Lionel Messi for two weeks.
On Wednesday, a group of PSG ultras gathered outside the club headquarters asking for their full resignation. They also criticized Lionel Messi as well. Hundreds of people gathered with megaphones, fireworks, and placards demanding that the player leave. They even insulted him in flawless Spanish.
Why did PSG ultras go to Neymar Jr.’s house?
As per PSG Report, they went to Neymar Jr.’s house next and asked him to leave the club.
In a video uploaded on social media, several fans gathered in front of the Brazilian’s home with megaphones, flares, and banners, expressing their displeasure with the star’s performances and recent injury issues.

Neymar, who has been linked with a transfer from Paris to the English Premier League, specifically Chelsea and Manchester United in recent weeks, took to social media to announce that the ultras had indeed visited his residence in France.
He posted on Twitter, “They’ve just left my door.” along with a crying emoji.

The club released a statement, according to Yahoo Sports, that said,
“Paris St Germain most strongly condemns the intolerable and insulting actions of a small group of individuals that took place on Wednesday. Whatever the differences of opinion, nothing justifies such actions. The club gives its full support to its players, its staff, and all those targeted by such shameful behavior.”
Meanwhile, reports from Brazil indicate that Neymar will return to PSG at the end of April after coming back from an ankle injury. The star’s season was cut short after he suffered an injury during a Ligue 1 encounter against Lille on February 19, requiring surgery in Qatar.
Neymar is currently wearing an orthopedic boot while he recovers from his injury. But the PSG forward will be able to remove it once he returns to France, according to reports.
The Parisians are clearly furious with Messi and Neymar, two of the club’s renowned offensive trio. They are upset at the lack of Champions League success at the club even after spending so much money. They are now taking out that anger at both Messi and Neymar.
While Messi appears to be on the move this summer, Neymar’s future is less certain. Though it appears he too may soon leave.
