Watch: Tom Brady sends heartfelt message to “GOAT” Jon Jones ahead of UFC 285 bout vs Ciryl Gane

The big day in UFC is finally here, as Jon Jones will make his octagon return today. Before this great battle, Jon received a note of encouragement from none other than NFL legend Tom Brady.

The UFC has returned to Las Vegas, and today at the T-Mobile Arena, Jones and Cyril Gane will duel for the heavyweight title, which has been vacant since the departure of Francis Ngannou from the promotion. Jones is preparing to make his UFC return against Gane more than three years after his last fight.

What did Tom Brady have to say to Jon Jones?

Many great sports personalities have wished the former light heavyweight king success in the new chapter of his MMA career ahead of his return. Tom Brady, the recently retired quarterback, too expressed his joy over Jon’s return and shared a heartfelt message on his Instagram account.

“Hey John, I wanted to say welcome back to the main stage. It’s great to see the GOAT doing what he does best and doing what he’s meant to do. So I thought seven titles was a lot. You doubled it, man!” Brady shared.

One of the all-time greats of American football, Tom Brady, won seven Super Bowls before finally announcing his retirement from the NFL after a long career of 23 years.

Given that the 35-year-old MMA fighter had already won fourteen title fights in his career— double the number of times Brady has won the Super Bowl—it is very evident from the statement that Tom Terrific told Bones.

“And I know tonight’s not going to be easy. Cyril Gane’s standing on the other side of that Octagon. He’s a bad man. It’s gotta be an incredible fight. Dana [White] knows how to put on a great show as always, and I wouldn’t miss this one for the world. I’m gonna be there watching, good luck to both you guys, tonight. And John, congrats on an amazing career of greatness. Let’s f—ing go!” Brady added.

Earlier, the UFC released a promotional video for the March 5th event, which drew the attention of the sports world due to the presence of several notable athletes, including NFL great Tom Brady, boxing icon Muhammad Ali, swimming superstar Michael Phelps, and basketball legend Michael Jordan.
