“We’re a tough matchup for anybody” Warriors’ Stephen Curry remains confident about defending NBA title despite heartbreaking loss vs Lakers

Stephen Curry‘s Golden State Warriors again conceded a defeat to the Los Angeles Lakers at the same Crypto.com Aarena last night in a rolling stone of a game.

The Warriors star finally returned to the court after 11 games of absence due to an injury suffered in early February. However, the comeback wasn’t anywhere near pleasant for the point guard as the Warriors squandered a five-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, Stephen didn’t lose any hope for the upcoming fixture even eyeing the postseason matchups.

What did Stephen Curry say?

In the post-game press conference the 34-year-old veteran appeared in a confident determined mood and said, “It’s just a lot that we’re trying to deal with, and still gotta stay optimistic about where we’re headed because until we get beat, we still feel like we’re a tough matchup for anybody.”

Compared to the Lakers’ poor form and being LeBron James-less, the Warriors should get an easy win. In fact, Curry scored 27 points with two rebounds and six assists, playing after one month. Adding Curry to the roster doesn’t seem to put any effect on the Lakers as five games before the warriors experienced a similar outcome.

However, Stephen doesn’t want to hold onto the loss anymore as he added, “That’s the confidence we have to have down the stretch and heading to the post-season.”

The Warriors are the fifth seed in the Western Conference with a 34-31 record; facing a serious threat from their follower on the standing.

On the other hand, the Lakers are the 11th seed in the same conference, and still, there’s no viable course to appear in the postseason for them. Without their superstar, James, it would be much more struggling for Anthony Davis to pull the team further.
