Roman Reigns made the declaration of war at the end of the Royal Rumble night, just as The Bloodline appeared to be on the verge of breaking apart.
The 2022 Royal Rumble lived up to its reputation as one of WWE’s most thrilling PPV events, with even more surprising elements than last year. The Bloodline storyline took a startling turn this Saturday night at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas as Sami Zayn betrayed Roman Reigns.

One of WWE’s most compelling storylines, The Bloodline has kept fans guessing about what will happen next as the group led by Roman Reigns has evolved into a formidable force. A further surprising plotline occurred on Rumble night when Roman and his team, The Bloodline, confronted Kevin Owens.
At one point, The Tribal Chief ordered Sami Zayn, The Bloodline’s newest member, to bash his foe-turned-friend Kevin Owens with a steel chair while Owens was helplessly handcuffed to the rope. That was the decisive moment for Sami, as he chose to save his friend Kevin and beat The Bloodline’s leader.
The storytelling in this moment is beautifully tragic. Sami attempts to save the few ashes left of his friendship with Owens by betraying Roman Reigns, while Jey Uso realized he’s lost respect for his Tribal Chief. Best story in a decade. #RoyalRumble https://t.co/0f0B5ZDz9J

Roman, the other members of the Bloodline, and the 50,000 members of the audience were all stunned by what Sami had just done. Everyone was taken aback by Sami’s actions because they knew full well the dire consequences he was about to face in a matter of minutes.
Jey Uso, too, chose to defy the Tribal Chief as he did not participate in the beating of Sami, which was another surprising development in the plot. When Roman, Solo Sikoa, Jimmy Uso, and Paul Heyman saw Jey walk away from the squared circle, they were completely flabbergasted.
Jey Uso is going to go down as one of best storytellers in wrestling. The amount of emotion he has poured in The Bloodline story has been among the greatest of all time. Whatever the outcome, he came out looking the best. pic.twitter.com/9QzHFd419O

At the end of the show, the Tribal Chief addressed something to Solo Sikoa that nobody understood until someone on Twitter sorted it out. It appears that Roman asked Solo to get ready for a civil war.
“We’re at war now Solo. We take no prisoners now” Roman said.
