West Virginia safety Kerry Martin decides to skip 2020 season due to the pandemic situation

Kerry Martin, West Virginia sophomore safety has announced to opt-out the ensuing 2020 NFL season considering health concerns for COVID-19 and other ongoing health issues. Recently he has shared his decision on social media confirming the news.

Martin informed that he along with his family decided to skip the season for underlying health issues. But he did not forget to express his gratitude towards his club and told that it has fulfilled all his desires for the game and leaving the club being a better version.

He also seemed to be hopeful to return to his favorite club after the pandemic ends. But for now, he has to make the decision as there is still no remedy for this.

Martin has been included in the opt-out list of the 2020 season. The game officials stated that they are quite prepared for the list to get longer as everyone is allowed to be cautious of health. But they are trying hard to take necessary safety measures from the Camp session of September.

It seems that the 2020 season is going to miss some of the influencial faces on the field!
