The undercover details of WWE WrestleMania 40 week in Philadelphia next April have now been revealed. WWE has planned a full calendar of interesting events over the next several months. The road to WrestleMania will begin for WWE in early 2024, following a timetable that looks mostly the same as in recent years.
The Wells Fargo Center will host three separate events, so get ready for a monumental weekend in Philadelphia. WWE has already started teasing the Mania weekend in 2023, with just two months remaining in the year.
What are the events scheduled for WWE WrestleMania 40?
WWE WrestleMania 40, will take place in Philadelphia on April 6 and 7. Over 90,000 tickets have already been sold, making this the most successful mega-event ever held in the City of Brotherly Love. Starting on Friday, April 5, there will be a WWE SmackDown episode and the Hall of Fame induction ceremony, setting the stage for an exciting weekend.
Then, on Saturday, we get WrestleMania 40’s opening night as well as WWE NXT’s Stand & Deliver. The action continues on Monday, April 8, with WWE Raw after WrestleMania.
Tickets for all three days will go on sale in a special pre-sale on November 15. On November 17, the general public will be able to purchase the bundle tickets. Plus, WWE and Fanatics Events are partnering together to host a one-of-a-kind fan and collector event in the heart of Philadelphia. There aren’t many details available yet, but it looks like it will be something special.
It’s possible that NXT Stand & Deliver will move to Thursday night, and there will be a live episode of The Major Wrestling Figure Podcast with Matt Cardona and Brian Myers on Thursday before the big events over the weekend. The WWE holds its annual main event in packed arenas. Last year, WrestleMania 38 was at AT&T Stadium in Dallas. WrestleMania 39 took place this year at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, which is also the home of the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers of the National Football League.
On April 6 and 7, 2024, Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania will host WrestleMania XL, the 40th edition of WrestleMania. The stadium houses roughly 68,000 supporters, and it’s sure to be full on both nights. While the date is fixed in stone, WWE has yet to announce the kickoff time.
