Throughout his illustrious career, the quarterback amassed a collection of opulent properties, including a lavish Brentwood mega-mansion built with his ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen.

What happened to Tom Brady’s $40,000,000 Brentwood mega mansion?

Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen bought a Brentwood house in 2008. They built a French chateau-style mansion. It was a masterpiece of architecture with five bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a gym, a cobblestone car court, and a koi pond.

Gisele said, “I like simplicity and coziness. I want to live in a place that feels like a real home, where you can put your feet up on the couch and just relax.”

Tom Brady, who is reportedly dating Irina Shayk, also loved the mega-mansion for its simplicity as he stated, “Gisele and I have eight sisters between us, and there are lots of kids. We built this house as a sanctuary for our family – a place where we can enjoy being together.”

Eventually, the couple sold the Brentwood mansion for $40 million. Dr. Dre was the buyer, and this transaction involved selling the land.

The Los Angeles property was eco-friendly, with electricity supplied by solar panels.  Dr. Dre made an offer on the Los Angeles mansion as soon as it came on the market. The asking price was $50 million, but he reportedly paid $40 million for the property.

Julian Edelman secretly lived at Tom Brady’s Brentwood house

Julian Edelman, who claims Brady made him feel sh*tty, recently revealed that he lived in his house secretly. The former WR revealed on his podcast, “Games With Names,” that there was a time he secretly lived in Tom Brady’s Brentwood house.

“I lived in Brentwood like 10 years ago. The reason why I lived in Brentwood, Brady you know how the big mega house that he sold to Dr. Dre. He lived in Brentwood like 10-15 years ago with Gisele and they built this insane home and then they rent this other house that was on Mandeville.”

Comedian Bert Kreischer questioned Edelman on why he settled in Los Angeles. He explained that it stemmed from his earlier time living unofficially in Brentwood, a ritzy suburban area of L.A.

In the early days of his NFL career with the New England Patriots, Edelman was couch-surfing in Los Angeles. Brady’s manager, Ben Rawitz, called Edelman while living at the former QB’s newly completed mansion in Brentwood. Rawitz invited Edelman to live in Brady’s house without letting the former QB know.

“I was couch surfing when I first got in the league like living in Marina del Rey because I moved out here to be around him, to throw with him, at that time he really wasn’t calling me. So, Rawitz and I were friends he goes ‘Yo come live in Brady’s other house with me, just don’t tell him you’re here’ and that house was on the way to the other house.”

The former WR had to hide when Brady visited the house, leading to many great memories.

“So, like he would come in and I’d have to hide, I just had a lot of great memories. I loved being in Brentwood, it’s quiet,” the former WR added.

Edelman expressed his love for Brentwood, describing it as quiet. Edelman mentioned that during his time in L.A., Tom Brady wasn’t actively reaching out to him as part of their plan to throw together.

Despite initial challenges, the former WR’s career flourished and he also admitted that he wasn’t content with the signing of Jimmy Garoppolo during his time with the Patriots. He became one of the most beloved players in Patriots history. Edelman, now retired from the NFL, works as a football analyst for FOX Sports and is involved in side projects such as his podcast.
