Logan Paul is a social media sensation and a wrestler. He is 28 years old and was born on April 1, 1995, in Westlake, Ohio. His younger brother Jake is currently in a similar profession as him. This former Disney star started his career as a content creator and is now signed to WWE.
Let’s discover how the YouTuber ended up becoming a WWE wrestler.
How did Logan Paul become famous?
Logan and Jake Paul seemed determined to build a strong career in the entertainment industry from a very early age. And when they were 10 years old, the brothers started making videos on the platform Zoosh and afterward moved to Vine.
They experienced their first ray of stardom through Vine where they had accumulated nearly 9.4 million followers. However, the platform was shut down in 2013 and they made a jump towards YouTube. There their popularity saw a massive bump and currently, they hold 23.5 million subscribers.
Not only on YouTube, but the Paul brothers are also famous on almost every prominent social media platform including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. So, when Logan finally managed to enter the dominion of wrestling, he was already at the zenith of stardom.
What motivated Logan Paul to join WWE?
Observing Logan’s popularity, British YouTuber, rapper, and boxer KSI invited both of the Paul brothers into a bout and Logan gave a nod of yes to him. In 2018, he appeared in a boxing match against KSI as an amateur boxer and the match was a draw.
In 2019, he reappeared in a rematch with KSI but this time calling it his first professional debut. KSI won the match via split decision. This is how the eldest Paul’s attention moved towards fighting and only became more intense with time.
WWE is an organization that is looking for chances to promote its brand in one way or another and who would be the best option than a mega YouTube star for promoting their campaigns? So, WWE’s long-term promotional plans and Logan’s rising interest in fighting led the way to sign a multi-event contract with the organization on June 30, 2022.
Upon entering WWE, Logan is focusing on his fighting career more vitally so that like his content-creating career, he can hopefully enjoy a strong fan base and solid stardom. Do you think Logan Paul is a charismatic wrestler? Share your thoughts in the comment section.
