The Super Bowl 2025 will have millions of viewers watching the big game. While the AFC and NFC champions play at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, it’s also a great time for movie fans to see trailers for the most exciting films of the year.
Just like every year, Hollywood’s biggest studios will use the huge audience to show trailers for their upcoming blockbusters. Since Fox is charging $7 million for a 30-second spot, we can expect some amazing previews.
Super Bowl LIX, one of the year’s most anticipated events, will take place on Sunday, February 9. Some of Hollywood’s most anticipated movies will launch after the special NFL event. Here are some movie trailers you can expect to see during Super Bowl 2025.
On February 14, 2025, Captain America: Brave New World will hit theaters. Next, we expect the trailer for Thunderbolts, another Marvel Studios movie, to debut on May 2, 2025.
Furthermore, the highly anticipated and final installment of the Mission: Impossible franchise, starring Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt, is scheduled for release on May 23 and is expected to feature a trailer at Caesars Superdome.
Snow White, Formula 1 Drama, and Jurassic World: Rebirth, Fantastic Four: First Steps are some of the other expected movies to showcase their trailers in Super Bowl 2025.
Lions’ Super Bowl 2025 bid ends with 45-31 loss
The Detroit Lions’ hope of reaching Super Bowl 2025 ended with a 45-31 loss to the Washington Commanders in the NFC Divisional Playoff at Ford Field.
Commanders’ rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels played great, throwing two touchdowns and 299 yards. Meanwhile, Lions’ quarterback Jared Goff struggled, throwing three interceptions and losing a fumble.

With this win, the Commanders move on to the NFC Championship game, where they will face either the Philadelphia Eagles or the Los Angeles Rams. This is their first time in the NFC Championship since their Super Bowl win in 1992. The Lions now have to look ahead to next season and aim for a deeper playoff run.
