In the last couple of days, Threads has almost single-handedly dominated the social media narrative, with NBA players and other members of the media switching to Instagram’s text-based chat tool. For the altogether uninitiated, The American technology giant Meta Platforms is the owner of the online social media and social networking service Threads.
The social network gained 55 million registered users less than a day after going live. Threads is being marketed by Meta as a brand-new platform for real-time, open dialogue. Also, despite being closely related to Instagram, the UX, by all means, is very similar to Twitter.

There have hardly been any other noteworthy NBA performers who have arrived at the platform so far. But, a lot more superstars will likely join Threads given that it has only been a short while since the start. Steph “The Baby-Faced Assassin” Curry is the most popular NBA player on the platform right now, with over 299K followers.

Is Laker’s King LeBron James on the new Threads app?
The official debut date of Threads was July 6. LeBron James does not currently have a verified account. Having said that, the social network’s monarch may join soon. The new text-based microblogging program was released by Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta.
In addition to Instagram’s popular photo and video-sharing features, Zuckerberg hopes to develop it into a new platform for users to share their views openly.
People can easily switch and toggle from Instagram to Threads. In doing so, the users in general can quite easily alter their profile as well. He currently has a grand total of 235.6 million digital social platforms followers. Thus joining Threads and tying up this loose end seems only a matter of time for the “L-Train”.
