Together with Mike Tyson and other notable figures from the combat sports community, a very special person attended UFC 287 and watched the fights from the cage side. Donald Trump was present at the event and his favorite UFC fighter was subsequently revealed by Dana White.

On April 8, Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira’s fight in UFC 287 was the main event at the Miami-Dade Arena. Regaining his throne, The Last Stylebender exacts revenge on Poatan. Yet since Gamebred is reportedly a strong supporter of Trump, it seems reasonable that Trump would be interested in the night’s co-main event between Jorge Masvidal and Gilbert Burns.
Trump’s interest in mixed martial arts was later acknowledged by the UFC president during the post-fight press conference. The head of UFC also indicated who might be the 45th president of the United States of America’s favorite fighter in the promotion.
“So this guy calls me twice a month and will talk to me for an hour about fights that have happened since we last talked. And he knows everybody. He knows what they did and who they fought last. He’s a huge fight fan. Three guesses. Colby Covington and Jorge Masvidal. Masvidal and Covington.” said White.
Masvidal, the Miami native also did something to prove Dana right regarding him being the favorite fighter of the former US President. The 39-year-old fighter fought in his last professional MMA career bout against Gilbert Burns that night. Even though Gamebred lost, he didn’t forget to praise Trump in front of the crow.
“I wanted to say, greatest president in the history of the world sitting right there, I love that guy. Let’s take that you-know-who ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ motherf—er out of power and replace him. If I can get it just one time: Let’s go Brandon! Let’s go Brandon!” Masvidal said.
On the other hand, Colby Covington, who was prepared to fill in as the backup fighter for the UFC 286 main event, also in an interview, revealed details regarding his attending Trump’s birthday party and partying with Trump. Apparently as a close friend of the former US President, Colby, to has a chance to be Trump’s favorite UFC fighter.
