The credit for scoring 100 points in a single game goes to Wilt Chamberlain. He achieved this historic mark while playing for the Philadelphia Warriors. Philadelphia Warriors was later altered into San Francisco Warriors and now it is known as the Golden Gate Warriors.
On March 2, 1962, while playing against the Knicks, he achieved such an unprecedented height in his career. The Warriors player exhibited 25 rebounds with 57.1% throws from the floor and 87.5% from the free throw line.
