Though the summer transfer window is about to end in just a few hours, it still looks like clubs are not yet done. Reports claim that Cole Palmer has received an offer from Chelsea to join The Blues for £45 million. Chelsea has become the English club to spend the most money on transfers this season so far after recently bagging Moises Caicedo in a British record deal of £115 million.

Who is Cole Palmer?
Born on May 6, 2002, Cole Plamer is an English football player from Wythenshawe, Manchester. He became a part of Manchester City’s main roster in 2020, but Cole was linked with the club way before that. He became a part of the Club’s under-18 team back in 2018, and as the years went on, he climbed his way up and got selected in Manchester City’s under-19, and eventually the under-23 team roster.
Cole was part of the club during Manchester City’s treble-winning season and the player already has a Champions League trophy, an FA Cup trophy, and a Premier League trophy to his name. Being a young player Palmer’s lack of experience has ripped him of the opportunity to be in Manchester City’s starting 11.
He has also not made a debut for England’s national football team yet, though he did win the European Championship with his country’s under-21 team. It seems quite apparent that the player has a lot of potential, and Chelsea wants to put that to use.

According to a Twitter post by B/R Football, Manchester City and Chelsea have reached a last-minute agreement for the transfer of Cole Palmer worth $57 million. This move could prove beneficial for him but it is still too early to say anything as the player is yet to play a full 90-minute game in the Premier League.
