Who is Dmitry Bivol’s ex-wife?
Dmitry Bivol married Ekaterina a long time ago. The WBA champ married Ekaterina when she was just 16 years old and Bivol was 28 at the time. Little to nothing was known about Ekaterina before she got married as she was just a simple girl from St. Petersburg.
The couple were facing a lot of problems during the last phase on thier marriage as neither of them were able to meet each other. Dimitri was very busy last year training for his super fight against Canleo.
This scandal that he is now being involved in could cause a lot of damage to the Russian boxer’s professional career. This could stop a lot of his future potential bouts.
Dmitry Bivol’s relationship history with Ekaterina
The couple were reporting some marriage problems, which eventually led to their split up. Following their split up, Dimitri did speak to a Russian media house once which was reported by insidesport wherein he said, “Dima and I broke up two months ago, but emotionally even four months. I went to a psychologist a few months before the breakup. I felt that everything was bad. It saved me.”
“I’m not sad without Dima. What should I get used to? I have always been alone for at least six months, and over the past year we have not seen each other for 10 months, I am very used to loneliness. I feel sad at times, but I thought it would be worse. Turns out I’m much stronger than I thought. Surprised by myself.”
Ekaterina also made a statement on this she said, “I myself do not understand how it all happened. There was no real reason to end the relationship. It seems to me that in a year I won’t even remember, because the occasion was insignificant. It’s just some kind of nonsense, but maybe there is something else … I lived a cool 16 years, very difficult, but also successful at the same time, with my loved one. I don’t regret anything. I am grateful to fate.”
She is now putting domestic violence allegations on him which could have a lot of negative effects for him. However, nothing is proven yet but she did post a few pictures on social media.
