The former Manchester United star David Beckham recently launched a Netflix documentary series titled “Beckham” based on the player’s footballing career and inside his luxurious celebrity life. The series follows the humble start of his playing career and how he became a famous worldwide name in the sport.
Beckham is renowned as a devoted family man; however, the release of a new series has brought up some alleged scandals from the past and his relationship with his PA, Rebecca Loos, during his time in Madrid.

In 2003 Manchester United’s English superstar David Beckham made a sensational switch to Spanish Giants Real Madrid, leaving Old Trafford to join the Galacticos at the Santiago Bernabeu to play alongside the likes of Luis Figo, Zidane and Ronaldo.
It was one of the biggest football transfers of that time. From one of the biggest clubs in the UK to the biggest club in Spain, the transfer was a match made in heaven between the two biggest clubs in Europe. Beckham signed a four-year contract with Real Madrid for a transfer fee of € 30 million.
A year later, during his stint at Real Madrid, the Englishman was accused of adultery, having an affair with his personal assistant, and cheating on his wife Victoria Beckham, with whom he tied the knot in 1999. It became one of the biggest celebrity scandals of the decade.
In 2003, Rebecca Loos was hired by Beckham as his PA after moving to the Spanish capital. She was a Spanish-born British model, actress, and presenter who worked with the player and his family in Spain.
In an interview, she claimed to have had an affair with David Beckham for several months and claimed that they were quite close during the time, this claim strained David Beckham and Victoria Beckham’s marriage, and Loos was eventually fired following the controversy.

In the four-part Netflix series, the Beckham pair opened up about the alleged scandal involving Rebecca Loos. Victoria Beckham talked about the scandal and all the claims of his husband cheating on her with his PA and Spanish Model.
She revealed it was the toughest time for her and David Beckham and said the whole world seemed against us and her relationship did get bitter and they were even against each other after the news broke out. Despite the tough times, they supported each other, remained connected, and ultimately survived through challenging times.
