Taylor Swift has a lot of fans in the NFL which was proved once again when many great NFL players attended her concerts during The Eras Tour. Aaron Rodgers, who once shared his love for Taylor’s songs, attended the concert with his wife. Chiefs’ star Travis Kelce also attended one of Taylor’s concerts in Arrowhead Stadium.
He didn’t only attend the concert but also tried to give Taylor Swift his number. Unfortunately, the 33-year-old couldn’t fulfill his mission because of a hilarious reason.
Kelce’s failed attempt to give Taylor Swift’s phone number
Travis Kelce, the tight end of the Kansas City Chiefs recently shared about his Taylor Swift concert experience. In the New Heights podcast, he told his brother, Jason Kelce that he wanted to give Taylor Swift his number. He even prepared a friendship bracelet with his number on it so that he can give it to the music icon.
However, all his plans failed when he got to know that Taylor Swift doesn’t meet fans during or after the concert. She does so to save her voice for the songs she has to perform during the concert.
“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings. So I was a little b*tthurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her.”
His brother was surprised after hearing about Kelce’s plan to give his number to the superstar. “You made her a bracelet?” Jason Kelce asked.
The tight end explained to him that in Swift’s concerts, fans give her friendship bracelets. So, he wanted to take advantage of that and give her his number through a bracelet.
Jason asked him which number he wanted to give her, a jersey or a phone number. To which Kelce hilariously replied, “You know which one.”
The Super Bowl champ came up with a very good plan. But, unfortunately, failed in his attempt to shoot his shot.

Both Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are single. Travis Kelce broke up with his longtime girlfriend in 2022. Taylor Swift also ended her six years long relationship with Joe Alwyn in April.
They both will make a wonderful couple. Even fans would love to see the union of the football and the music world. However, as Travis failed to give his number to Taylor he would need to come up with another plan.
Currently, Travis Kelce is focusing on the upcoming season. As the 2023 NFL season draws near, the pressure on the players is increasing. They are preparing hard to give their best and lead their teams to new heights of success.
