Why Victoria Azarenka forces son to watch tennis at home? Revealing the reason for Leo’s tennis court ban

The Belarussian stunner, Victoria Azarenka undoubtedly has one of the most adorable member on her team. Her 7 year old son has been lending his mother a hand in her tennis journey and this duo has created quite a few heart warming moments in tennis history. 

Former world number 1, Vika has won over 34 WTA titles and 2 Grand Slams in her career. Now, as she cruises her way into the fourth round of the Wimbledon since 2017, she decides to ban her cutest team member from coming to her matches.

Azarenka has been known to be one of the few players able to consistently challenge the GOAT Serena Williams herself! Not only can this champ make the strongest moves with her fine footwork, but also makes her opponents move around and work for it. 

Vika’s son Leo was born in 2016 and just 7 months later, the lady come back to compete on tour with the best addition to her team. Her son has been constantly featuring and supporting his mother in all of her matches, tournaments and press conferences! However Vika shares that the mother in her, keeps getting distracted by her son on the sidelines.

She says how when Leo is sitting in the audience, “it kind of takes me a bit, you know, into my mom mode too much rather than being a tennis player.” Even though Leo has started to really want to accompany his mother and show his support, he will have to stay at home and cheer mum on. While it is hard for the mother, she truly knows that this is what is best for Vika and Leo. 

How many children does Azarenka have?

Victoria has one son, Leo with her ex-boyfriend Billy McKeague. They have had their own share of drama after splitting up in 2017. Then had to go through a custody battle that even halted Vika from competing in several tournaments.

Vika is known for her aggressive style of play, her charming work ethic and most importantly her motherhood. The 33-year-old has an impressive record in the past and is closer to her third Grand Slam title.
