The latest edition of WWE Raw featured an intense opening segment. The show was opened by the World Heavyweight Champion Seth Freaking! Rollins who was later confronted by Cody Rhodes.
The American Nightmare had just confronted Rollins but suddenly Brock Lesnar’s music hit and he made his way toward the ring. Rhodes quickly shifted his attention to The Beast Incarnate and started attacking him which ended up in a massive brawl between the two.
Cody Rhodes and Brock Lesnar feud
The feud between Brock Lesnar & Cody Rhodes is an old rivalry. They both competed in 2 matches against each other with both of them securing one victory over the other. The last time they competed against each other was at Night of Champions 2023, where Brock Lesnar secured a victory against Rhodes.
After getting defeated, Rhodes started a short rivalry with Dominik Mysterio which ended up in a match between these two where Rhodes secured a win over Dom Dom. On the fallout edition of WWE Raw, Seth Rollins opened the show and got subsequently confronted by The American Nightmare.
Before Rhodes got to say much on the mic, Lesnar interrupted the scene. Cody Rhodes also quickly turned his attention towards The Beast and a brawl between these two broke out on Monday Night Raw.

According to reports, Rhodes Vs Brock Lesnar part III is set to take place at SummerSlam 2023. A stipulation is also rumored to be added in their potential final showdown of this rivalry.
Cody Rhodes vs Seth Rollins next?
After the confrontation between Rollins & Rhodes, some fans believed that it may be a tease for a potential rematch between these two in the future. But as of now, there seem to be no plans for the rematch between Rollins & Rhodes at least not for the upcoming premium live event. The confrontation only seemed to be set up for the return of Brock Lesnar and to have an attack on the American Nightmare.
For those who don’t know, Rhodes made his WWE comeback at Wrestlemania 38 and faced Seth Rollins in his return match. The rivalry between these two also continued on multiple occasions where almost all the matches were won by Cody Rhodes.
As Rollins is now the World Heavyweight Champion there is still a possibility that in the future they both collide again but this time The Championship will likely be on the line.
