During a promo at SummerSlam 2008, Shawn and his wife Rebecca came out to the ring to announce HBK’s retirement. Since this was his first time appearing on TV with his partner, people worried it may be his final appearance in WWE.
In an attempt to humiliate HBK, Chris cut into the program. They spat abuses at one other live on the screen. As their argument grew intense, they started throwing fists where Jericho missed Shawn and smacked his wife, Rebecca, instead.
