WWE Legend Picks CM Punk to Claim 2025 Royal Rumble Victory with Paul Heyman’s Help

WrestleMania season is coming, and fans are wondering who will win the 2025 WWE Men’s Royal Rumble. This year feels more unpredictable than ever. While betting odds keep changing, wrestling legend Bully Ray shared a bold theory: he believes CM Punk will win the 30-man Royal Rumble match.

During a recent episode of “Busted Open Radio,” Ray shared his thoughts on why Punk winning the Royal Rumble would be the biggest story of the year. Bully Ray thinks that CM Punk and Roman Reigns will be the last two wrestlers in the 30-men Royal Rumble clash.

Things will take a dramatic turn when Paul Heyman steps in and soon turns on Roman. Bully Ray thinks this is how CM Punk will win. Punk and Heyman have a past together, and the Rumble could be the time for Heyman to repay the favor.

In the podcast, he questioned, “’Can you think of anybody else being a bigger story than Punk winning the Rumble this year? We can make cases for Roman, we can make cases for Jacob [Fatu], we could probably make cases for Solo, but Punk winning the Rumble, let’s isolate this moment in time. It comes down to Roman and Punk and Heyman stabs Roman in the back so Punk could go over. Could anybody create a bigger moment than that?”

The 2025 Royal Rumble is set for February 1 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. With two months to go, fans are already guessing who might win. Last week on Raw, CM Punk hinted at using the Royal Rumble to build his story. Since he might get help from Paul Heyman, he doesn’t seem too worried about the competition.

CM Punk hints at Paul Heyman’s “favor” during WWE Raw

Following the Survivor Series, CM Punk kicked off WWE RAW by speaking to the crowd. Before he talked about his future, he talked about Bad Blood and WarGames. Then, he climbed to the top of the ladder and told the crowd something very exciting.

He told the crowd, “There may not be a sign there, but I see it! I know what the future holds for CM Punk. There are many paths to get there. There are different ways for you to end your story.”

Punk also mentioned having a “favor or two” saved up. After his WarGames win, Punk told Paul Heyman, “When I need that favor, I’ll ask.” Punk’s big WrestleMania moment could tie the “favor” to it, according to fan speculation.
