Several long-term workers have recently left WWE, indicating that the corporation is undergoing some massive changes. Mike Johnson of PWInsider broke the news of two additional employees’ departure on September 3rd. One of them is Jason Robinson, who was WWE’s lead production designer.
According to PWInsider, Jason Robinson is finishing up this week or following Bash in Berlin. Those who collaborated with him expressed admiration for him and acknowledged his exceptional skill.
Robinson heavily influenced the distinctive style of WWE’s broadcasts. With his departure, an era has come to a close. We don’t know why the Stamford-based-promotion fired Robinson at this time. But that’s not all—the corporation also just dismissed the Director of Production.
WWE’s Director of Production Leaves the Company
Notable departures have occurred after the September 2023 merger of WWE and UFC under TKO Group Holdings. Recently, it was reported that Director of Production Travel Michelle Carlucci was also let go after 36 years with the company. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer first shared the news.
The report said, “Michele Carlucci, who was the WWE Director of Production Travel, was let go on Friday. She had been with the company since 1988 and had been at this specific job since 2019 after spending the prior 14 years as Director of the Freelance crew, Travel & Special projects.”
