WWE RAW “Season Premiere”: venue, card, time, appearances everything to know about

Last week, WWE’s Raw, SmackDown, and NXT shows were absolutely stacked with the Stamford-based company putting together really good shows featuring great matches and segments, including surprise appearances. Following Fastlane, the focus now shifts to the build-up for Crown Jewel, followed by Survivor Series, making it two big events in a month.

Kicking off the season premiere with the blue brand on Friday, it’s time for the red brand to deliver a season premiere that is expected to be equally exciting. Last week’s Raw provided teases for future storylines with seeds planted for multiple upcoming feuds.

Business has been booming for WWE with record-breaking attendances on both their weekly shows and Premium Live Events. WWE is now going to become bigger than ever after the UFC-WWE merger by Endeavor under the banner of TKO Holdings. The season premiere of SmackDown was raved and critically acclaimed by fans and critics alike and it’s now turn for RAW to deliver.

The season premiere of RAW will be live from the Paycon Center in Oklahoma City, OK. It’s going to be interesting to see what will be the aftermath of previous week in front of a sold-out crowd in Oklahoma. It will start from 8/7 Central Time.

WWE RAW “Season Premiere” card

Several matches were announced ahead of tonight’s Monday Night Raw. After defeating Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens for the Undisputed Tag-Team Championships, Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes are scheduled to face Judgement Day. Rhea Ripley, who talked to Adam Pearce, secured a rematch for Finn Balor and Damien Priest. This marks the second title defense in two weeks for the newly crowned Tag-Team Champions Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes.

Bronson Reed emerged as the #1 Contender for the Intercontinental Heavyweight Championship in a Triple-Threat match against Chad Gable and Ricochet. The ring is set for a showdown between the two big men as Bronson Reed faces the longest IC Champ, Gunther, in a title match. After Shayna Baszler delivered a devastating blow to Rhea Ripley’s face last week, it appears that RAW Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley may have found a worthy competitor for the Title. They also have a lot of history together in NXT.

Ricochet and Shinsuke Nakamura have had multiple matches on RAW over the past few months and as The King of Strong Style moved on to bigger things and challenged the World Heavyweight Champion, Seth Rollins. It seems Ricochet hasn’t let go of his past grudge against Nakamura and they’ll face each other in a Last Man Standing Match tonight.

It’s clear that Drew McIntyre will be the next challenger for Seth Rollins’ World Heavyweight Championship, a feud which the WWE Universe has been longing for. Who will main event the WWE RAW Season Premiere? Feel free to share your opinions in the comments.
